Two years after the release of its first trailer, Peacock has released the official trailer for ‘Angelyne’, a miniseries inspired by an article in The Hollywood Reporter written by Gary Baum that revolves around the real figure of Ronia Tamar Goldberg. Emmy Rossum (‘Shameless’) plays the main character in this Anonymous Content, Composition 8, Esmail Corp. and Universal Cable Productions (UCP) production, which also includes Martin Freeman, Alex Karpovsky, Hamish Linklater, Charlie Rowe, Lukas Gage, Michael Angarano, Molly Ephraim, and David Krumholtz. Lucy Tcherniak (‘Wanderlust’, ‘The End of the F***ing World’) directs four episodes of the five that this miniseries finally consists of, with Matt Spicer (‘Becoming God in Florida’, ‘Dollface’ ) directing the other. Created and written by Nancy Oliver (‘Lars and a Real Girl’, ‘True Blood’), the series is executive produced by Sam Esmail (‘Mr. Robot’, ‘Homecoming’ and It will be released, finally, on May 19. At least in the United States, without us knowing at the moment how or when its five episodes will arrive in Spain.
